For a dining table and six chairs, plan on roughly 16x20 feet. Add a lounge area and you are at 20x24. A full setup with dining, seating and an outdoor kitchen usually lands between 20x30 and 24x32. We model it against your actual space before you commit.
Yes. Most pavilions sit on concrete footings sized by the engineer for your soil and frost depth. If you already have a slab or patio, we assess whether it can carry the load or whether footings need to go in alongside it.
That becomes a patio cover rather than a free-standing pavilion, and it is a different structural problem. We build both, and we will tell you which one actually suits your roofline.
