Two partners, one standard.

Echelon was started by people who got tired of watching beautiful properties fill up with disposable product.

01 Our Story

We build the company
we would have hired.

Between us, we've spent much of our working lives around timber—designing it, joining it, raising it, and learning what separates something that simply looks good from something truly built to last.

Echelon was founded because we believed there was room for a higher standard—not only in craftsmanship, but in how a company treats people. Integrity, honesty, respect, and doing what we say we'll do are at the heart of Echelon. Those values guide how we serve our customers, how we treat our employees, and how we work with everyone involved in a project.

We believe great work starts with great people. We want Echelon to be a place where our team is valued, treated fairly, and proud of the work they do—and where our customers can trust the people they invite onto their property.

We’re not interested in cutting corners to become the cheapest bid. We want to build things the right way, treat people the right way, and create something everyone involved can be proud of.

02 How We Work

Four things we will not compromise on.

Do it once

We would rather talk you out of a project than build something that will disappoint you in five years.

Show the work

Renderings before cutting, real numbers before signing, and a written scope you can hold us to.

Own the outcome

No finger-pointing between trades, because there is only one company on the contract.

Leave it better

Clean sites, protected landscaping, and a driveway swept before the truck pulls out.

03 The Craft

Cut in the shop.
Raised on your lot.

Every joint we cut happens indoors, under cover, on timber we selected by hand.

That is not a romantic detail — it is why the schedule holds. By the time our crew arrives at your property the hard, loud, weeks-long part of the work is already finished. The frame shows up cut, sanded, sealed and labelled, and it goes up in days.

It is also why the joinery is tight. You cannot cut a clean mortise in the rain.
